RECOGNITION
Rule 10:
RECOGNIZE ALL PEOPLE THAT ADD VALUE TO YOUR PROGRAM
Recognition is an essential element in your innovation management program. You’re asking people to do something on top of their jobs, to share their thoughts on another department’s challenge, and to use (innovation) methods that they’re most likely not completely familiar with yet.
Recognition can help convince people to participate, but at the same time, some forms of recognition are counter-effective. This last rule is all about who to recognize and how.
I recommend using non-monetary honors to recognize your top campaign participants.

COFFEE BREAK WEBINAR
We originally published the “10 Rules” as a series of blog posts and asked our readers to submit their questions. We answered those questions in several short “Coffee Break” videos, which you can watch in the time it takes to enjoy your coffee, tea, or wine (hey, we don't judge your beverage choices!).
This final coffee break webinar answers questions on Evaluation (Rule 9) and Recognition (Rule 10). Check it out!

Entice your employees to participate by showing upfront what’s in it for them
